Matt Crittenden - Architect

Matthew founded MSC Design in 2005 with the goal of transforming clients’ spaces from the outside in. As a licensed architect, he understands how to create buildings that are functional and unique. As a designer, he specializes in creating environments that allure and inspire.

Matthew has spent more than two decades developing and renovating restaurants, hotels, retail spaces, senior living facilities, luxury condos, and private residences, where he has helped clients define and enhance their brand identities, grow and expand.

Matthew believes great design is a cooperative exercise. He works personally with clients from conceptual design through construction, creating a finished product that meets brand, timeline and budget considerations. Matthew’s inclusive approach to design has led to many long-standing relationships, especially in the hospitality industry where the firm’s first client remains a loyal customer.

Matthew is married, father of two, a native Texan and proud Texas Aggie. He enjoys classic cars, classic rock and photography.

Allie Erwin

Allie Erwin is the newest member of the MSC Design team. As a designer, Allie can see the potential in spaces and turn a structure into an experience. Her passion for art and creativity drive her interior designs. She believes a space should function at its fullest and the aesthetics follow in complete harmony with the interior function and surrounding environment.

Allie has a bachelor of Interior Design from Louisiana State University’s College of Art and Design, and is pursuing accreditation to become a licensed Interior Designer in the state of Texas. Allie is a native of Louisiana. Her hobbies include painting and sketching, piano, and staying active by jogging the Katy Trail.



Guy Gregory has been an integral part of the MSC team for more than 10 years. He has decades of experience designing and detailing commercial and residential structures. After several years running his own residential design studio in California, Guy returned to Texas and has worked with a number of renowned architects and designers.

Guy is analytical, detail-oriented, and a good communicator. He examines each project and process with a critical eye, seeking and suggesting improvements in the pursuit of excellence.

Guy is always positive and has a great sense of humor. He loves hockey, and the Dallas Stars in particular.
