Matt Crittenden

Matthew founded MSC Design in 2005 with the goal of transforming clients’ spaces from the outside in. As a licensed architect, he understands how to create buildings that are functional and unique. As a designer, he specializes in creating environments that allure and inspire.

Matthew has spent more than two decades developing and renovating restaurants, hotels, retail spaces, senior living facilities, luxury condos, and private residences, where he has helped clients define and enhance their brand identities, grow and expand.

Matthew believes great design is a cooperative exercise. He works personally with clients from conceptual design through construction, creating a finished product that meets brand, timeline and budget considerations. Matthew’s inclusive approach to design has led to many long-standing relationships, especially in the hospitality industry where the firm’s first client remains a loyal customer.

Matthew is married, father of two, a native Texan and proud Texas Aggie. He enjoys classic cars, classic rock and photography.

CHAY ESTRADA

DESIGNER

Shay Estrada

Chay is a Garland Texas native and graduate of Dallas College. His interest and education in interior design led him to MSC Design. He enjoys modeling and visualization. His skills and dedication to his work make him a valued member of the MSC team. Chay enjoys salsa music, documentaries, drawing and sketching, endurance and team sports, volunteering, and traveling.

AMANDA SKLUZACEK

ARCHITECTURAL INTERN

Amanda Skluzacek

Amanda Skluzacek joined MSC Design in 2018. A vital member of the team, Amanda is super organized and her attention to detail and communication with our team of consultants are key to successful collaboration. She is a spatial thinker whose technical skills advance the design while leveraging the expertise of the team to achieve the client’s vision.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University, and is working toward registration in architecture and interior design. Amanda loves to laugh, create and find the joy in everyday life. She is a plant and dog lover who enjoys both creating and admiring art – traditional and multidimensional – with a soft spot for printmaking.

KATHRYN SKINNER

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Kathryn Skinner
Kathryn Skinner had retired after decades of experience in the diverse, fast-moving, demanding and ever-changing transportation, logistics, and supply chain industry, but decided retirement was not for her. She loves the creative aspects of the design industry and enjoys the new challenges she is presented with working in a new and different field. Her excellent organizational and communication skills along with her positive attitude make her an invaluable asset to the MSC Design team.
